Construction of a bicycle path around the Czorsztyn Lake - section II: Zatopiona Osada – a bicycle route in Czorsztyn (from Huba to Mizerna)

The aim of the project is to create a new tourist offer of the Czorsztyn municipality, as based on the existing landscape values and the development of recreational areas. The scope of the investment included the construction of a 5.7 km two-way bicycle route, 2.5 m wide, in the town of Maniowy. The new tourist offer is valid all year round, regardless of the weather conditions, because in the spring, summer and autumn it will be used as a bicycle route, and in the winter it will be a route for amateur cross-country skiing. The implementation of the project enabled tourists and residents to access modern tourist and recreation infrastructure in the form of: bicycle paths, places to rest for cyclists and walking paths. Access to valuable natural and landscape areas in the town of Maniowy has visibly improved. The indirect goal of the project was to promote a healthy, active lifestyle, to create an offer of free time management for children, adolescents and adults, and to increase interest in the region’s rich landscape resources.
